The figure is shocking, but true...
8/10 women over 30 grow a beard. Most of them struggle to hide it every day and shy away from everyday situations.
Many women believe that a lady's beard is a hormonal problem. But the truth is that in most cases there is something completely different behind it: Genetics.
The tendency to increased facial hair growth is genetically predisposed in almost every woman, especially from the age of 30. Even hormone therapy often does not produce satisfactory results as it does not tackle the root of the problem.
Reaching for the razor or tweezers is an obvious quick fix, but few people are really aware of the long-term consequences...
Shaving: The hair root remains. The hair grows back quickly and often appears thicker and darker due to the bluntly cut tip. Micro-injuries caused by the razor make the skin look old. The problem gets worse from time to time.
Plucking: hurts and irritates the skin. It can lead to inflammation, pigment changes and even scarring.
Worst of all, repeated stimulation even leads to increased hair growth, as the hair follicles are supplied with more blood and activity increases.
Shaving and plucking = more hair!
